Makeup: the cheekbone trick and three hygiene rules
Makeup shouldn’t hide you — it should bring out the best in you.
- Don’t contour your cheekbones at random: place two fingers on the cheekbone and draw a “V”.
- Don’t forget the temples and the chin. Blend well and set with a little powder; for more intensity, a powder bronzer or contour. And blush and highlighter — in summer you can never have too much.
- The eyeliner shape is chosen for your eyelid and the shape of your eyes; contouring — clean, never heavy.
- From your very first makeup: hygiene, good skin prep and proper makeup removal, so that makeup doesn’t harm your skin over time.
- Never sleep in your makeup: “sometimes it’s ‘just this once’, but it becomes a habit. The result? Clogged pores, inflammation and dull skin.”
- Wash your brushes and sponges: dirty ones are a breeding ground for bacteria that cause acne and irritation.
